Sweet Osmanthus Flower Tea
Product Description: Sweet Osmanthus also known as Sweet Olive, Tea Olive and Fragrant Olive is a species of Osmanthus native to Asia, from the Himalaya east through southern China (Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan) to southern Japan. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree growing to 3–12 m tall. The flowers are white, pale yellow, yellow, or orange-yellow, small, with a four-lobed corolla 5 mm diameter, and have a strong fragrance; they are produced in small clusters in the late summer and autumn. The infusion yields cups of sweet and refreshing liquor, with strong aromatic flowery fragrance.
Brewing Guide:
Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the teapot 2 grams (1-2 teaspoons) tea leaves for every 225ml of water. Infuse in hot water at 90°c (194°F) to 95°c (203°F) for 2 to 3 minutes for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
