Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Shui (Tincture of Agastachis for Restoring Vital Qi) is a patent herbal remedy based on the ancient recipe “Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San” originally appeared in the official prescription book Tai Ping Hui Min He Ju Fang of Song Dynasty (1151AD). This Chinese herbal formula is best suited to restore the vital energy in the middle level and cope with discomforts of heat weather, cold symptoms with accumulation of dampness in the interior, such as headache, dizziness, feeling of heaviness in the head, sensation of stuffiness in the chest, distending pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea. It is also applied to lots of skin diseases.

Ingredients:
Chinese giant hyssop (entire plant)
Poria (sclerotium)
Magnolia (stem)
Tangerine (outer peel)
Cyperus (rhizome)
Chinese licorice (root)
Tangerine (dried rind of mature fruit)
Perilla (leaf)
Fragrant angelica (root)

Actions: Restores the body’s energy while expelling pathogens, regulates and harmonizes the stomach and intestine, stops vomiting and diarrhea.

Indications: Use for poor digestion due to deficiency of spleen with phlegm-damp or food accumulation, manifested as nausea, vertigo, headache, pasty or loose stools, and flatulence. Excellent for wind-damp invasion of the stomach (summer-damp-heat stomach flu). It is applicable to Influenza, Intestinal Flu, Non-specific Acute Colitis, Acute Gastroenteritis, motion-sickness and morning sickness, which mainly manifest vomiting and diarrhea due to pathogenic cold-heat and pertain to exterior cold and interior dampness.*
